São Pedro de Alcântara

Crossing to another side of the historic centre, Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara gives you a completely different perspective over Lisbon.

Basílica da Estrela

Our journey continues towards Basílica da Estrela, with its impressive architecture and elegant surroundings.

Parque Eduardo VII

At Parque Eduardo VII, the city opens up in front of you.

From its elevated position, enjoy the perspective down towards Avenida da Liberdade, central Lisbon and the Tagus River in the distance.

And from Lisbon's hills, our journey continues towards the river.

We follow the Tagus towards Belém, one of Lisbon's most beautiful riverside districts and an area closely connected with Portugal's maritime history.

Here, monumental architecture, open riverside spaces and one of Lisbon's most famous culinary traditions come together.

Mosteiro dos Jerónimos

One of the highlights of Belém is the magnificent Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, an extraordinary example of Portuguese Manueline architecture.

Pastéis de Belém

We'll stop by the historic home of these famous Portuguese custard tarts, giving you the opportunity to taste one of the city's best-known treats.

Padrão dos Descobrimentos

Beside the Tagus stands the impressive Padrão dos Descobrimentos — Monument to the Discoveries.

Its riverside location makes it a fantastic stop for photographs while your guide shares some of the history connected with Portugal's maritime exploration.

Torre de Belém

We also visit the iconic Torre de Belém, one of Lisbon's most recognisable landmarks.
